Studies and assessments of Balneological peat of mud-bath (moor-baths) Hochmoos:

According to the Salzburg curative resources and Spa Act was conducted by the Institute of the University of Graz balneology by Dr. Herbert Greschonig in June 2006, the prescribed control analysis. In summary, the peat of the mud bath Hochmoos are judged to be well separated, mainly of organic peat. He has a very good watering capacity, good thermo-physical properties and good chemical and physical properties. The bog of Bad Hochmoos is hygienic and balneologic significant.


Indications:

Chronic rheumatic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, treatment of injuries and surgical success, women's diseases: chronic inflammation of the genital organs, menstrual disorders, infertility, menopausal symptoms, vegitativendokrine disorders in the pelvis, convalescence after gynecological operations.


Contraindications:
Severe heart and vascular diseases, acute inflammation and febrile diseases, hemorrhages and bleeding risk of malignant tumors, psychotic disorders and seizure disorders, tuberculosis.

Please note: Mud-baths could only administer with a prescription of an practising doctor!
